The Cevahir Istanbul mall cost $250-million to construct. This six-story mall boasts 34 fast-food chains in addition to its 14 exclusive dine-in restaurants. This is a famous shopping and entertainment center in the heart of Turkey. Located on the Büyükdere Avenue in the Şişli district, it was officially opened in October of 2005 and is owned by St Martins Property Group. It is designed to be a self-contained town. The massive mall includes an indoor beach area that is more than a kilometer long. The New Century mall is the largest mall and the largest building in the world! It is twice the size of both the previous mall record holder in Dubai Mall and Guangdong’s biggest mall called the New South China Mall. The super international park features a water park, IMAX theater, 2,000 hotel rooms, and is a whopping 16 million square feet (150 hectares).
