Princess Cays

Ensuring this beach maintains its natural state is a priority though so you won’t find yourself in the middle of an overrun tourist trap.

This place is exclusive and the activities are built around the natural wonders of the island. You can play volleyball or enjoy water sports like kayaking and snorkeling. St. Thomas

St. Thomas, the capital of the U.S. Virgin Islands, is one of our favorite spots in the Caribbean. In fact, Magens Bay was selected as one of the best beaches in the world by National Geographic magazine. 

Walking around here is like walking in a dream. The mountains encasing the white beaches and crystal waters make for views that will take your breath away. Here you can go snorkeling and diving to see ship wrecks and coral reefs. The sea life here is so vibrant and colorful. You can take an excursion to Magens Bay and then up to Blackbeard’s Castle.

While traveling on Skyline Drive, you have to see the view from Valdemar A. Hill. This is a great spot to see the boats and cruise ships below.

Another unreal view on the island is called Drake’s Seat. You have to go up there and see Magens Bay from above. Of course you will want to take some photos, but make sure to take some time to really soak in the scene. Breathe in the tropical air and quietly gaze over one of the most beautiful places on Earth.

St. Maarten

If we only had a couple words to describe St. Maarten, it would be colorful and lush. This paradise has lots of perfect beaches and bays. Just like the other stops in the Caribbean, the white sands are begging you to come and be still as you soak up the Caribbean sun. There are over a dozen beaches along the coast here! 

Friar’s Bay is gorgeous and not crowded. There is an absolutely delicious cafe located in the middle of the beach. Seafood doesn’t get any fresher than when you dine seaside!

You can hike about 15 minutes from Friar’s Bay and you will find Happy Beach. This beach is very secluded and clothing is optional. Take a long walk down this wide open beach. You’ll leave your footprints in the sand and take with you memories that will last forever.

Sailing is huge here! From small private boats to world class yachts to rent, fabulous sail boats can be seen all around this island. It is definitely a popular place for all types of boats and ships to stop, from massive cruise ships to the tiniest little dinghy.
